Mid-urethral sling procedures
A synthetic tape (or mesh slings) is inserted under the urethra (bladder neck) and thus prevents urine from leaking, when there is an increase in abdominal pressure. There are relatively few complications. The success rate seems to be as good if not better than open operations. |
